Dresden, 19. February 2026 – In many small and medium-sized enterprises, order data is indeed available in a structured form within the ERP system, but transferring this data into realistic production scheduling often requires significant manual effort. The lack of seamless integration between ERP, work preparation, and shopfloor operations forces planners into time‑consuming coordination – frequently at the expense of delivery reliability. DUALIS addresses this practical challenge with a new, certified integration solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The interface, developed by partner Leannova, is available via the Microsoft Marketplace and expands the existing ERP integration portfolio of GANTTPLAN with an additional standardized connection option.
GANTTPLAN is an Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) system designed for digital detailed scheduling and optimization of production processes. It serves as an add‑on to ERP or MES solutions to enable real-time planning of resources, capacities, and materials, improve delivery performance, and minimize setup times.
With immediate effect, manufacturing companies can use ERP order data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within detailed scheduling without creating custom interfaces or performing individual development work. Order changes or schedule adjustments made in the ERP system are automatically reflected in GANTTPLAN and made available for resource-based production planning.
“For manufacturing companies, it is essential that ERP systems and production planning work together without system breaks,” says Dr. Kirsten Hoffmann, Product Manager at DUALIS GmbH IT Solution. “Only order data flows into detailed scheduling without manual steps can determine realistic production and delivery dates. The interface developed and certified by our partner Leannova expands our integration portfolio to include an ERP system widely used in the midmarket segment.”

ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are typically designed to reliably map commercial processes. However, their functionalities are often insufficient for detailed, resource-based production scheduling. Production managers must frequently prepare and prioritize the ERP order data manually or transfer it into separate planning systems.
The new integration solution connects Business Central with GANTTPLAN and provides structured ERP order data directly within detailed scheduling. The data can be further processed while considering capacities, resources, and dependencies –significantly reducing media discontinuities between commercial planning and shopfloor execution. Additionally, users benefit from an update-friendly solution anchored within the Microsoft ecosystem, which integrates into existing IT landscapes without additional complexity and supports an easy transition to fully integrated detailed scheduling.
Focus on planning reliability for SMEs
With the new integration, DUALIS addresses a key operational challenge for many medium-sized manufacturing companies: the transition from order entry in the ERP system to realistic, reliable production scheduling. The goal is to simplify planning processes, reduce coordination efforts, and establish delivery dates on a solid, transparent foundation without complex IT projects or system boundaries.
