GANTTPLAN already includes important modelling approaches such as the mapping of pallet changers in its standard version, enabling realistic representation of highly automated production. Additionally, Hilti uses the solution for personnel planning. Besides classic detailed planning, APS is used for medium- and long-term planning of series components, utilizing the MRP functionalities for material requirements planning integrated in GANTTPLAN.
During the proof of concept phase, GANTTPLAN met all required use cases with its extensive functions, good usability, and modern user interface. The solution also integrates with the leading ERP system SAP, communicating with APS via DUALIS’s own SAP connector. DUALIS’s extensive project experience and planning expertise were also positively rated.
