GANTTPLAN Confirmation: real-time feedback for optimised production planning

The “Confirmation Client” is a new feature that enables machine data collection (MDC) directly in GANTTPLAN. Thanks to the seamless integration of MDC functionalities into the APS, production processes can be confirmed in real time. Whether material provision, assembly, or packaging – all planning-relevant steps are recorded immediately and incorporated into the production plan. In this way, it is possible to react flexibly to short-term disruptions and adjust the detailed planning accordingly. The web-based HTML5 client offers platform independence so that employees can access the central system from different devices without having to install special software.

History Analytics: Data-based decision support through artificial intelligence (AI)

GANTTPLAN’s “History Service” heralds a new era in production planning by automatically collecting and analysing historical data. This extension allows to use pattern recognition and to analyse cause-effects from the past to create more realistic production plans. By providing the data via a REST API, seamless integration into the planning workflow is guaranteed. The service forms the basis for AI applications that enable precise forecasts and optimisations – from the prediction of process durations to the automatic creation of standard times for new parts.
