Medical Technology Company Ypsomed Selects DUALIS APS System

Following an extensive proof of concept (PoC), Ypsomed, an international medical technology company, has decided to implement the GANTTPLAN detailed planning tool from DUALIS GmbH IT Solution. The APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) system will enable Ypsomed to automatically plan all resources based on SAP at its sites in Solothurn, Burgdorf and Schwerin. The aim is to start operational use of GANTTPLAN in the first production area in Q1/2020.

To address the increasing dynamic resulting from a broader product portfolio and rising customer demands, Ypsomed sought a planning solution that would deliver efficient and transparent production scheduling for its injection molding and assembly operations—while integrating seamlessly with SAP. During the PoC, DUALIS’ GANTTPLAN APS system proved to be the ideal fit.

The initial rollout of the GANTTPLAN detailed planning tool is scheduled for the Solothurn production site in Q1 2019.
